Who runs the program

The solidground affiliate program is run by Area 61 Worldwide LLC dba solidground ("we"). Joining is by invitation, and we may accept or decline anyone.

Commission

You earn 30% of the amount we actually receive for each eligible sale made through your link: the price the customer paid, minus card processing fees, and excluding any tax.

Eligible products are our plugins and software. Merch, coffee and event tickets don't earn commission.

Your rate is shown in your dashboard. If we change it, the new rate applies only to sales made after the change.

How sales are tracked

When someone clicks your link, their browser remembers it for 30 days. If they buy within 30 days of their last click on your link, the sale is yours. If they click another affiliate's link afterwards, the most recent link gets the sale.

Tracking depends on the visitor's browser keeping site data. Sales we can't attribute (for example, after the visitor cleared their browser data) don't earn commission.

Purchases you make through your own link don't earn commission.

Holding period, refunds and chargebacks

Each commission is held for 45 days after the sale before it can be paid, so refunds and chargebacks can come in first. During your first 90 days in the program the hold is 90 days.

A sale that's refunded, charged back, or found to be fraudulent earns no commission.

If that happens after we've paid the commission, we deduct it from your pending or future earnings. If your balance goes negative, it carries forward until future commissions cover it. If a chargeback is later decided in our favour, the commission is restored.

We may hold a sale for review if it shows signs of fraud (for example, purchases from your own network, unusual bursts of sales, or high-risk payments). Reviewed sales that look genuine are paid normally; others are cancelled.

Payouts

We pay monthly, once your ready-to-pay balance is $50 or more; smaller balances roll over to the next month. We pay by PayPal, or another method we agree with you, to the details in your dashboard.

Before your first payout we need a completed W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (outside the US) and may confirm your identity. Payouts wait until we have both.

You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn.

Rules

Tell your audience you earn a commission whenever you share your link, as the FTC requires (for example, "I earn a commission if you buy through this link"). If we gave you a free license, mention that too when you review the product.

No spam, no misleading claims about the products, and nothing we haven't said about them (features, prices, compatibility).

Don't bid on our brand or product names in search ads, or pretend to be solidground.

No fake clicks, self-referrals, or coupon and deal sites without our written OK.

Ending

Either of us can end your participation at any time. Commissions already earned under these terms are still paid once they clear the holding period.

If we end your participation for fraud, abuse or breaking the rules above (including a pattern of chargebacks), your link stops working and unpaid commissions are forfeited. We may pause your link while we look into repeated chargebacks.

We may update these terms; we'll tell you by email before changes take effect.
